Gerben Passier

Gerben Passier works since 2022 for DG CLIMA as a seconded national expert (SNE/END) on the implementation of CO2 standards for road transport. 
Since 2017, he has worked for the Dutch government (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management) on sustainable mobility, including exploring cooperation between China-California-Netherlands in a so-called 'ZEV policy lab'. 
Before working for Toyota, Siemens and Dutch research firm ‘TNO’, Gerben graduated cum laude from Delft University of Technology (in mechanical engineering in 2001).
