Cleantech Analyst, Future Cleantech Architects
Ingrid El Helou is a Cleantech Analyst at Future Cleantech Architects (FCA), a nonprofit climate tech think tank aiming to close the remaining innovation gaps in the hard-to-abate sectors. Ingrid leads FCA’s work on decarbonizing aviation and the role of hydrogen and alternative fuels in the energy transition. Since joining FCA in 2023, she has worked on different policy briefs (such as a Book and Claim Scheme for SAFs), factsheets, and panel sessions on transport decarbonization. She is the author of FCA’s latest technical report ‘ReFuelEU Aviation’s Targets: A Feasibility Assessment’. Ingrid is an engineer with a master’s degree in Energy Technologies and a PhD and Postdoc on sustainable aviation fuels and reducing emissions from aircraft engines from the University of Cambridge.
