Lukas Wernert

Lukas Wernert is Hydrogen Policy Lead in the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission. During the academic year 2023-2024 he was European Union Fellow at the Institute for Transportation Studies, University of California Davis, focusing on EU-US hydrogen policy. Before that he led the establishment of the first EU list of priority hydrogen infrastructure projects (Projects of Common Interest/Projects of Mutual Interest). Lukas studied at the College of Europe, Bruges, the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, and HEC Paris.
