Beginning his journey in electromobility in 2012, Pieter has embraced various roles encompassing consultancy, finance, implementation, and policy. A significant achievement was establishing and overseeing a specialized regional government body responsible for developing one of Europe's largest public recharging infrastructures. Currently, as a policy coordinator at the central government, he persists in his dedication to fostering an open and user-centric recharging eco-system that aids the energy transition.
